Dr. Hazelbaker specializes in cross-disciplinary treatment and to that end has taken training in several modalities to best assist her clients. She is a certified Craniosacral Therapist, a Lymph Drainage Therapy practitioner, and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

Alison K. Hazelbaker, PhD, Ibclc, filca, cst-t, rcst, ppne, LMT

Dr. Hazelbaker has been a therapist for nearly 40 years. She specializes in cross-disciplinary treatment and to that end has taken training in several modalities to best assist her clients. She is a certified Craniosacral Therapist, a Lymph Drainage Therapy practitioner, a Rhythmic Movement Training educator, a certified NOMAS assessor and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. In 2010, she became a Fellow of the International Lactation Consultant Association (FILCA).

Along with CranioSacral Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage Therapy, reflex therapy, and Rhythmic Movement Training, Dr. Hazelbaker utilizes botanicals and homeopathy in her clinical practice. Her willingness to address clinical problems from a variety of perspectives, meeting clients where they are at philosophically, has earned her the respect of her peers and her client population. She works with clients of all ages.

She earned her undergraduate degree from New York University, Her Master’s Degree from Pacific Oaks College (Human Development specializing in Human Lactation) and her doctorate from The Union Institute and University (Psychology, specializing in Energetic and Transformational Healing.) She is certified in two schools of craniosacral therapy: The Upledger Institute and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. She has been practicing as a craniosacral therapist for nearly 30 years and has performed over 10,000 treatments during that time.

Dr. Hazelbaker, a long-time La Léchè League Leader, mothered five children through breastfeeding, has seven wonderful grandchildren, and five unruly Cocker Spaniels.

Alyssa ryan calm, CILT, LMT

Alyssa has a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Florida Gulf Coast University. She lives with her husband, Victor, 2 daughters, and son in Columbus, OH. She is the first intern to receive her certification as a Certified Independent Lactation Therapist, a Licensed Massage Therapist, and is working towards earning her certification in craniosacral therapy through Upledger Institute.

Alyssa began her Craniosacral therapy training in the Spring of 2016 and graduated from massage school in August 2021. She looks forward to continuing her work with newborns as well as Prenatal, Birth and Post-Partum care and CST and massage clients of all ages. As a Certified Independent Lactation Therapist (CILT) she has the privilege of working with many families to help them achieve their breastfeeding goals. After receiving such wonderful support and guidance after the birth of her children, she wanted to be able to offer the same guidance and support to other families.  

jessica Hazelbaker-buell, ma, lmt

Jessica was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, but has spent time living in Arizona, Florida, and the UK. She currently lives in Columbus with her partner, Jorge, their three children, and their dogs.

Jessica received training as a birth and postpartum doula in 2008 and a home birth midwife in 2011. She is one of the most experienced Placenta Encapsulation Specialists in central Ohio, having received her training in 2011 and encapsulating over a thousand placentas. Jessica began her Craniosacral therapy training through the Upledger Institute in 2019. She is also a Licensed Massage Therapist and a certified BioScan MSA Practitioner.

Jessica has been on her own healing journey since she was 17, working through various physical and emotional traumas due to accidents, childbirth, and health issues over the years. She is passionate about supporting women towards optimal health and physiological function in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, as well as supporting adults along their own healing journey. She is a firm believer in the body and its ability to heal itself.

Jessica works with Craniosacral clients aged 5 years and up and BioScan MSA clients of all ages.
